I never understood this song until a few weeks ago u know.

I have learned to be a soldier bec of u.
You make me brave my franco.

I am so grateful that the goddess sent me a man such as you
to help me make this transition.
I always knew I would arrive at this point eventually

The Valkyrie is related to the Celtic warrior-goddess, the Morrigan, who likewise may assume the form of the raven.

She rides out upon the battle-field of the dead and dying, and from them...

Predictive:  I rendered these pictures in 1978. A fantasy I had 30 years before I found The Donna Darkwolf.
It was a romanic notion. The REALITY was a harder medicine. AND I GOT THE NOSE RIGHT!
When I finally caught up with My Lady in Black, and found out what our Mission was, I knew I was in a "place".
The Donna Darkwolf is the last of her kind.
And I have been chosen to do the job of a Valkyrie
Well I done it enough times in combat, in an Allouette 3SA helicopter gunship - AirMobil 3.
Collected enough damaged soldiers off the battle field...
Flying back to fetch my Donna Darkwolf was a walk in the Park
Listen for the Breath of Angels - EVERYWHERE - for one thousand yards

I found the Donna Darkwolf. And I brought her home.
Still burning brightly in my heart.
Dead, or alive, as I promised my own team, all those years ago... We All Go Home Together.
The Donna Darkwolf resides in the mountains of the ocean. Oxala. And lives on with me.
In my Ivory Tower in The Sky. Gardens Centre. On the edge of Table Mountain. Cape Town.
