My dearest Franco
I feel certain that I am going mad again. We can't go through another
of those terrible times. And I shan't recover this time. I do not want
to be admitted to a psych ward again where the medication affects my moods
even more and the doctor’s do not really care in our overburdened state
system. And you know how terrifying it is in there. I have been through
too many doctors. I don’t care anymore.
Between my mania and deep dips I am unable to creatively use words much
less them string them together.
My words are as capricious as my mind. After my stroke, my eye problems,
inability to judge distance and drive, agoraphobia, and ongoing as well
as pending health problems, I don’t want to do it anymore. My friends do
not know how to handle me anymore, so most avoid me.
You have lived through this terrifiyng place. You are a Soldier. So you
know what this PLACE is. I am a Witch and I smell this place. I cannot
die away in it.
I want to be fetched in the morning and take me to egypt.
Just take me to egypt my franco
I can't fight it anymore. I WILL NOT DO this anymore.
I am doing the best thing to do. You have given me the greatest possible
happiness, MY own and only soldier.
You have been in every way all that anyone could be.
I don't think two people could have been happier until this terrible disease
came.
What I want to say is I owe all the happiness of my life to you. You have
been entirely patient with me, protective and loyal. My Faithful Minion

I want to say that — everybody knows it. If anybody can save me it is
you. Everything has gone from me but the certainty of your goodness.
